Blooms, Breezes, and Beads: A Spring Day in Skagit Valley
Share
There’s something magical about spring in the Pacific Northwest, and nowhere captures it quite like Mount Vernon during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Each April, the fields burst into endless rows of tulips in every shade imaginable—crimson, golden yellow, deep violet, and soft pastels. With snow-capped peaks in the distance and crisp, fresh air swirling through the valley, it’s the kind of place that makes you stop, breathe, and take it all in.
My daughter and I spent the day wandering through the vibrant fields, camera in hand, soaking up the color and the calm. The mix of cool breeze, bursts of sun, and being outside all day felt incredible—but also left our skin feeling a little windblown and dry by the afternoon. Luckily, we had Wild Vie® solid moisturizer beads tucked in my purse.
They’re perfect for days like this—compact, clean, and so easy to carry. Just a few lightweight beads, ready to use whenever we needed a refresh. After a few hours in the elements, we each used one—just a single bead warmed in our hands and smoothed over our skin was enough to hydrate and soothe. We even used some for our parched hand. It was quick, effortless, and made such a difference.
What I love about Wild Vie® is how effortlessly it fits into real life. Whether we’re on a rugged hike or strolling through rows of tulips, it’s skincare that moves with us. The tulip festival reminded us how good it feels to slow down, enjoy beauty in the moment, and take care of ourselves along the way. Wild Vie® makes that easy—just a bead, a quiet moment, and we’re back to exploring.
Wildly,
